Born in Hong Kong of Chinese parents, she was raised in Yorkshire and has lived in Brighton for over 10 years.
Her upbringing gave her an early understanding of this ancient system of health which forms the background to acupuncture treatment. This is reinforced by her practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
After 3½ years’ training, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, affiliated to Kingston University.
Since completing her course over 10 years ago, Sandry continues her professional development by attending advanced level training courses. These include specialist training in the use of electro-acupuncture, treating musculo-skeletal conditions and the pyscho-emotional aspects of Chinese Medicine.
As a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), Sandry is bound by its codes of professional conduct and safe practice, ensuring she gives the highest standard of treatment.
She is also an ITEC qualified Swedish Massage Therapist.
Her career path has seen her move from global events manager to now full-time mum and complementary therapist.

Ian graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Acupuncture. Since completing his studies Ian has continued his professional development by attending many specialist courses.
In 2008 he was invited to join the first national fertility network launched by the Zita West clinic in London. The network has allowed Ian to complete further advanced training in the treatment of fertility issues with acupuncture and he now has a close link with the renowned London clinic.
In 2008 he also joined 12 other practitioners on a 3 week study trip to Guangzhou, China, where he got hands on experience of acupuncture being used in mainstream hospitals.
Ian has completed further training in electro acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture and musculo skeletal conditions.
He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the leading professional body representing 3000 acupuncturists around the UK. As a BAcC member he is bound by the codes of professional conduct and safe practice ensuring he gives the highest standard of treatment.
